No minimap, no crosshair, but can we have the hitbox? quite distracting without it? In time would we setup a server with official match settings so we can practice commander and shit for proper games?

imo our bf4 server needs some time(month or two) for the kinks to be worked out. And as far as im concerned practice and such are bf3 exclusive atm :P

Can we please get the rules straight on the forum? Not sure whether things like RPG on inf are allowed or if the rules are the same as BF3 or what.

I like not having hit markers. It makes it feel more hardcore. Did my bullet hit oh body moved shoot em again job done.

My ideas for the server:

1. Add all the rules we had in BF3
2. Max sniper limit on rush. Maybe make this something larger than before, possibly around 10 because then it just prevents more than 1/3 of the team sniping and making that team lose the round (kill on sniper rifle kill - not recon spawn)
3. Increase tickets for rush (by 20% of whatever they are now)
4. No hitmarkers
5. No minimap
6. Possibly add the rule 'No vehicle wasting' - People sit in spawn with vehicles doing nothing or are just flying them to get somewhere and then they crash it. I think we need to either add this rule or decrease spawn time for vehicles (the rule would seem the most sensible IMO)

Just ideas - I know lots of people want the minimap but you can easily press M when you want to see a map, you don't ALWAYS look at the minimap and you can then get more room on your screen if the minimap isn't there (less HUD coverage)

Practice today takes place on the #1 server, same time as ussual, this is just to test the water. So keep in mind we might have to postpone it and go back to BF3 if there are issues.

ATM we can have as many rules as we want but the pubbers will be unaware of them,
as im sure i mentioned elsewhere virtually NON of the plugins work with bf4 atm

so tickets / sniper limits ect ect are a non starter untill they get ported across to bf4

Well firstly, I understand the plug-in stuff and yeah I know we can't really do much about that yet so that's fine. Secondly, the stuff I was talking about was only a 'Consider this for the future' thing not a 'lets do it now' :P
