Yup i have the same as staffy except ETA 6 hours with gpu and nothing with cpu. Too much trouble than its worth, I'd rather donate the money straight to the sick kids than to my electricity company...

If you lower the cpu usage and just have it runnng when your not gaming theres no reason it should use any more electric

i have it running whenever i can. the only issue i have is that it sometimes causes videos (youtube or vlc) to pause for a split second every now and then aside from watching films it is on

I've stopped doing it due to the rise in my leccy bill since building my new rig, not willing to pay that much to have my rig running at 100% all the time.
